Ingredients:
- 2 - Potatoes, sliced into long pieces(similar to those for french fries)
- 1 tsp - Zeera
- 2 nos - Whole dry red chillies
- 1 tsp - turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp - Oil or mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Heat some oil in a kadhai and splutter zeera. Add the red chillies and saute.
- Add the cut potatoes and sprinkle turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Add some water and cover it up and cook till the potatoes are done.
- Now let the potatoes to fry for sometime in the kadhai. Serve hot with rotis or paranthas
